These resources have been developed to support community engagement activity for the No Second Chances level crossing safety campaign and are primarily aimed at people aged 75 and over.

The materials can be used at community events and local engagement activities to help raise awareness of level crossing safety and encourage safe behaviour around the railway.

You’ll also find a template letter and email banner which can be used to approach local organisations, including local authorities, libraries, GP surgeries, pharmacies and charities supporting older people. These organisations may be willing to display campaign posters in public-facing locations or incorporate the campaign banner into emails and newsletters sent to their customers, service users, patients or members, helping us reach people aged 75 and over, as well as their friends, family members and carers.

By working with trusted local organisations, we can help extend the reach of the campaign and encourage more conversations about level crossing safety.

These campaigns are no longer live or being promoted to public and passengers. However, if you would like to use these resources please ask permission from Network Rail’s marketing team: marketing@networkrail.co.uk
