“Stay off the Tracks” pairs first responders with professionals from the film industry to recreate the horrific effects of rail trespass on victims and their loved ones.

Protect yourself from catastrophic, life-changing injuries – or worse.

Phase two adds new content to the Stay off the Tracks campaign, addressing the emotional impact of rail safety incidents, the danger of distraction at level crossings and the internal damage caused by electrocution from the overhead lines (to be added in August).

These campaigns are no longer live or being promoted to public and passengers. However, if you would like to use these resources please ask permission from Network Rail’s marketing team: marketing@networkrail.co.uk

Network Rail are supporting National Rails Sexual Harassment campaign. #ZeroToleranceOnRail

There are 2 phases of the campaign which are both evergreen and can be surfaced at any time.

  • Phase 1 – launched 23 August 2021
  • Phase 2 – launched 6 April 2023

Additional information on phase 2:

  • Building up from the ongoing campaign to raise awareness and educate people of less knows acts of sexual harassment, we have identified the importance of the role of bystanders to tackle the issue across the railway.
  • Working alongside British Transport Police (BTP) and a bystander intervention expert, a powerful VR experience has been developed that puts people in the shoes of a targeted person and a bystander whilst highlighting less know acts of sexual harassment.
  • There will be a PR activation at Waterloo station on 6 April so the public can experience the content using VR headsets.
  • BTP colleagues will be there to help to answer questions, facilitate conversation and educate passengers.
